Community Development
As our world here in Central Vermont slowly begins to open after 2 years of pandemic closures, we have many plans for expanding community offerings, such as seasonal community outdoor wellness activities (5K/10K walk/run, snowshoeing events), public space available for community partner utilization, weekend family events, visits to Farmers Markets, fundraisers around the county, and much more.
Community Food Program
OCPCC has been receiving and distributing monthly deliveries of fresh produce via the Vermont Foodbank’s Vermonters Feeding Vermonters program for several years, and this has been made readily available to our families and members of the community.
In 2020 Capstone Community Action chose OCPCC to be a distribution center for their 2-weekly pandemic food program, which includes individual frozen ready-prepared meals and dry boxes of pantry staples as well as fresh fruit and vegetables. The two programs together mean that we can distribute food throughout our community for 3 weeks of every month.

Community Outreach
OCPCC participated in the Tunbridge World’s Fair and won a blue ribbon for Best Display for their table.
