Crockpot Cooking Workshop

March 16 @ 10:00 am - 12:30 pm

The Bethel Area Rotary, the Orange County Parent Child Center and the Bethel Area Food Shelf are

partnering to offer a crockpot cooking class as part of Bethel University. Crockpots can be lifesavers for

busy people, and they can save you time and money. We’ll cover all the basics of how to use a crockpot

and provide lots of information and recipes as we prepare a simple crockpot dish.

Plan on tasting some premade crockpot meals while we share tips for cooking with a crockpot. If

you don’t have a crockpot, no worries, we’ll have one for you to take home, along with recipes,

ingredients to prepare a yummy meal and other tools.

  • Learn how to use a crockpot
  • Learn safe knife skills
  • Get multiple slow-cooker recipes
  • Learn tips and tricks for using this economical way of cooking.
  • Enjoy a Taste Testing of many crockpot recipes and take home the recipes.
  • Share experiences on using a crockpot and how to use it better

Note: If you do not have a crockpot you can go home with ingredients to prepare a yummy meal

— and a new crockpot, knife, and cutting board!
